Three New Co-op Post-graduate Master’s Degree Programmes on Offer for the 2014-2015 Academic Year

The Alsace region has authorised EM Strasbourg Business School to open three new co-op post-graduate Master’s degree programmes starting from the beginning of the 2014-2015 academic year. The new co-op tracks in Tourism Management, Supply Chain Management and E-marketing will be open for registration to holders of a Master’s degree or equivalent four-year degree under 26 years of age, who will be entitled to study towards those degrees while being in employment under a one-year co-op contract.

Three post-graduate Master’s degree programmes currently run by EM Strasbourg Business School as part of its continuing education offerings, Tourism Management, Supply Chain Management and E-Marketing, will be available for co-op enrollment as of the beginning of the 2014-2015 academic year. The co-op study track, which allows students to prepare for a post-graduate degree (five-year degree) while working professionally, ideally combines the theoretical learning gained during study periods at EM Strasbourg Business School together with hands-on practice for know-how development during internship periods.

Post-graduate Master's programme in Tourism Management

It is the only five-year degree course specialised in tourism on offer in the north-eastern part of France.
The new degree course, which opened to continuing education students at the beginning of the 2013-2014 academic year, covers all facets of customer relation management as well as tourist offer management. Relying on an experiential approach to tourism, the course enhances learning through comprehensive consideration of the ins and outs of tourism, specificicaly the tourist experience and the tourist offer.

Post-graduate Master’s programme in Supply Chain Management

This is a sector enjoying strong demand both in France and abroad.
The Supply Chain function encompasses close to 70% of a company’s operations, including purchasing, procurement, stock management, production, distribution, and returns. This post-graduate Master’s degree course is designed to train enlightened and efficient managers operating in a competitive globalised environment. The curriculum places emphasis on the fundamental concepts pertaining to the whole logistics chain, from suppliers to customers. The main bias is on managing integration projects all along the supply chain and getting to grips with the whole logistics function (the main challenges, the strategic landscape, the main actors’ logics, etc.).

Post-graduate Master’s programme in E-marketing

This is a training course geared towards meeting the new challenges transforming our societies.
Providing a response to both practitioners’ demand and new shifts in marketing, the new Master’s degree course is intended to equip managers with the knowledge and skills to run web projects, use web-marketing tools, enhance the understanding of web-users’ behaviour, manage and organise company information, embed web2.0 approaches into business strategy and bolster corporate communication strategies through social networks.
