Our Customised Programme for the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University (USA)

Publié le October 19, 2017, Mis à jour le November 9, 2017

Each year the International Relations Office organises a series of short term customised programmes for groups of students from select partner universities as part of our cooperation agreement. It is within this framework that a group of 24 MBA students from Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland USA, are coming to Strasbourg in October 2017 to attend an intensive short term programme on the topic of European Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

On October 23rd the group from Weatherhead will have the chance to collaborate with our students from our M2 Entrepreunariat programme during a day-long workshop. Using a co-working format inspired by the Finnish Team Academy methodology, the students will work in teams elaborating a business plan around a project proposed by the EM Strasbourg Business School students. A fantastic chance for our students to collaborate with experienced MBA students from our American partners, to benefit from their high-level expertise and their international perspective.

On Tuesday 24th October, the public event “Build a Collaborative Ecosystem” will take place at the Shadok. Coorganised by Alsace Digital, the Consul General of the United States of America in Strasbourg and EM Strasbourg Business School, the event will be in the format of an informal debate led by Michael Goldberg, Assistant Professor in the Department of Design and Innovation at Weatherhead School of Management, and head professor for the customised programme with EM Strasbourg Business School. In September 2017, Alsace Digital published their “livre blanc”, an official report on the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Strasbourg and the surrounding region. This report highlighted a number of areas for development, in particular the components and environment necessary to the emergence and development of an entrepreneurial ecosystem with a national or even international focus. To help shape their way of thinking, Alsace Digital is delighted to welcome Michael Goldberg as guest speaker.
