The Bartholdi Prize is a tri-national competition for the best placement report pertaining to a training period undertaken abroad. It is open to students attending business courses in the Upper-Rhine region. Out of the three EM Strasbourg nominees, Guillaume Fritz, a student on the Entrepreneurship track of the Grande Ecole Programme, was awarded the second prize worth €3,000 for his report entitled "Travel Broadens the Mind", which he wrote as a trainee with Mercedes Benz Financial Services in the United States.
The criteria used for the selection of placement reports include:
the degree to which a clearly defined placement objective was achieved,
clarity and conciseness of writing - to allow readers to easily understand explanations and proposals,
inquisitiveness about the country and cultural understanding.
The Bartholdi Prize award ceremony is scheduled to take place in Reinach, Switzerland, on 4th November 2011. Heartfelt congratulations to Guillaume!
