On 31st August and 1st September, EM Strasbourg Business School organised a symposium on the theme of Management and Religions, which gathered more than 200 people - among whom 50 reserchears in various workshops and conferences.
The focus of the symposium was on management and the corporate world from a fully cross-disciplinary perspective. All human and social sciences thus contributed to giving a voice to people from the whole gamut of religious practice, including minority creeds.
According to Professor Isabelle Barth, EM Strasbourg Business School Dean, the symposium is in line with the School's policy of reaching out to its socio-economic environment, and it testifies to its will to actively participate in emerging societal debates.
A book gathering the best papers presented during workshops willl be published by EMS Press in March 2012.
Bolstered by HuManiS and LaRGE, its two research laboratories which co-organised the symposium, EM Strasbourg Business School is fully committed to its role as a think tank in providing a space for interactions as well as a decoding of highly challenging social phenomena.
